I don't care what I'm watching. If subtitles are available I'm putting them on. I don't want to miss a single piece of good conversation when I'm watching a movie or a TV show.
If I say "sorry about the mess" in my house or car, I'm really not sorry. It's something we have to say out of common courtesy. Plus, my car and house are like 95% clean most of the time. So I have to apologize for the 5% mess? For Pete's sake.
