Pitch or Chip?
"Hey, let's pitch in some money."
or
"Hey, let's chip in some money."
I like pitch. 🤷🏻 Chip sounds like a bag of chips that you snack on.
If I say "sorry about the mess" in my house or car, I'm really not sorry. It's something we have to say out of common courtesy. Plus, my car and house are like 95% clean most of the time. So I have to apologize for the 5% mess? For Pete's sake.
